The Riesling Manifesto is the joint contribution of three vintners and fervent Riesling enthusiasts, who are famous for their sometimes drastic approach, namely: Randall Grahm of Bonny Doon Vineyard in California, Johannes Selaht of Selbach-Oster Weingut in the German Moselle Valley, and André Ostertag in Alsace. Each one wrote several small texts on the Riesling varietal, gathered together in a small book, the Riesling Manifesto, which was published in June 1999.
